Depending on the circumstances, the storage yard may not accept a credit card – it may require cash, check or debit card only. OutPOUND will help you get the vehicle released and pay the storage charges for you, buying you time to make a more educated decision. We are a quick response network, but you will have to do you part in assisting with the vehicle release. The impound yard has an incentive to keep your car locked up as long as possible because another day equals more storage charges. Here is what you need to do:
- Get a price for your vehicle on OutPound.com
- Opt-in and submit your contact information
- Get together the following:
- Drivers License
- Vehicle Registration
- Insurance Card
- Title
- Proof of ownership (purchase paperwork)
You will have to contact the storage facility holding your vehicle and get a quote to bail the vehicle out with a good through date. Authorization of release will be needed for OutPOUND to come and pay the charges on your behalf. We will provide you with a signed purchase agreement beforehand.
